In 2014, Scott became an owner and partner of AROK, where coincidentally, he held his first carpenter apprenticeship nearly three decades prior while studying architectural drafting, business and accounting. Throughout his career, Scott rose through the ranks as an estimator, project manager, general manager, division manager and president. He has experience growing and operating one of the largest subcontracting companies in the Southwest, and expanded the company’s revenue twentyfold during his 18-year tenure.
Scott is a firm believer in supporting his industry and community. He has served as treasurer of the ASA of Greater Phoenix, as a member of the Rap Council ASA National and as a member of ASA Risk Transfer Task Force. In addition, he has participated with the Building Leaders Development Group, on the U.S. Bank Arizona Market Advisory Board and as the Director of the Restorative Justice Resources Coalition. He has been a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization, the Association of Wall and Ceiling Industry and the JOY High School Design Committee. Scott has also been a guest speaker at the Del E. Webb School of Construction at Arizona State University, presenting on the estimating drywall, plaster and painting systems.
